I am also a Navy combat veteran who discovered the healing power of art. I started my artistic journey as a way to distract myself from the mental trauma I experienced during my years of service. I soon realized that when I was creating art I began feeling physically and mentally better. I began feeling safe, less depressed, less angry, and less anxious. My nightmares became less frequent and my self-esteem improved.  Simply stated, I began to live again.

 

My goal is to continue creating beautiful pieces of handmade art that people can wear and enjoy and in the process raise awareness for the healing power of creating art. My motto is "Healing through Art." I hope you like what I make and that you will consider purchasing one of my pieces.
